The Caleigh family have had a terrible year…….
Gabe has brought his wife, Eve, and daughters, Loren and Cally, to the peaceful seaside village of Hollow Bay in Devon. He can work and Eve and the kids can have some peace and quiet. Perhaps they can try, as a family, to come to terms with what’s happened to them.
Their new home is Crickley Hall, a large house at the bottom of Devil’s Cleave - a massive tree-lined gorge. A river flows past the front garden. It seems like the perfect retreat.
Yet the family soon discovers that there’s something not quite right about this place: it is constantly cold., hushed whimpering noises are heard and, though they shut the cellar door every night, it’s always open again in the morning……..
As the terror mounts, the Caleighs soon come to regret their decision to move, for the secret of Crickley Hall is beyond all nightmares.
